Dr. Daniel Strickland, MD is a third-generation physician specializing in many fields, including gynecology & obstetrics, reproductive endocrinology, and addiction medicine. Dr. Strickland began his career with a BS in physics through the University of Georgia and then a Masters of Nuclear Engineering at the Air Force Institute of Technology. Dr. Strickland then realized his calling for medicine and graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1977. Over the last four decades, Dr. Strickland has worked domestically and abroad in the reproductive and gynecological fields. Since 2010, he has worked at an Opioid Addiction Clinic as an advanced practice provider (APP). Dr. Strickland has earned many recognitions and awards throughout his long career, becoming a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Strickland's work has been published in dozens of scientific and medical papers, including a comparitive study of the relationship betreen breast cancer survival rates and prior postmenopausal estrogen use. Dr. Strickland has many areas of expertise, contributing to his ability to treat patients from all walks of life. He has decades of experience in women’s health and fertility, holding positions as the Chief of Reproductive Endocrinology and a physician at various women’s health clinics in the southern United States. Along with his career achievements, Dr. Strickland has been married for 55 years and spends his free time enjoying his family, traveling, and boating.
