What is brimonidine tartrate?
Brimonidine tartrate is the tartrate salt form of brimonidine, which is an alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonist. It acts to constrict blood vessels within the eyes, decreasing the production of eye fluid and improving the eye’s ability to expel fluids.
