How long do you use Optivar Eye Drops?
Use Optivar Eye Drops twice a day as long as you have allergy-related eye itching. Long-term use of Optivar Eye Drops for up to 8 weeks is not usually a problem.
Can you wear contacts while on Optivar Eye Drops?
Do not use Optivar Eye Drops while wearing soft contact lenses. A preservative in Optivar Eye Drops could permanently stain the lenses. Use the medicine for at least 10 minutes before inserting your contact lenses.
What are the possible side effects of Optivar Eye Drops?
Optivar Eye Drops may temporarily sting or burn your eyes for a minute or two after use.
