Diprolene Ointment treats the inflammation and itching caused by many skin conditions, such as eczema or psoriasis. It is a highly potent steroid that prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation.
Use Diprolene Ointment on the skin only. Read the Patient Information Leaflet provided by your pharmacist before you start using this medication and each time you get a refill.
Using too much Diprolene Ointment or using it for a long time may increase your risk of having adrenal gland problems. The risk is greater for children and patients who use large amounts for a long time. Your doctor must check your progress at regular visits for any unwanted effects that this medicine may cause. If your symptoms do not improve within 2 to 4 weeks, or if they worsen, check with your doctor. If you have more than one of these symptoms while you are using this medicine:
